Second Vacation, next one in late June 2010

Had a good time on my last vacation. Work went great while I was gone. I think at the end of the summer, I'll take a few of the employees to Hatteras or Negra. Depends on how the summer waves go. A Step in Time Certifies 10 technicians

A Step in Time technicians joined Dale Feb in Richmond Virginia for the Fireplace Investigation Research and Education Service seminar to become FIRE certified. This national standard is known throughout the chimney industry. We are please to announce that 10 of A Step in Time's technicians have passed the FIRE exam and are now FIRE certified chimney technicians. Congratulations to these individuals and good job for your time and devotion to further education. This advanced level of education is a continual effort provided from our technicians to provide the best quality service available to the clients and customers of A Step in Time. Again, good job! We are proud of you. 

Second Post - March 29, 2010 - Vacation to Costa Rica

The good thing about a job at A Step in Time is that you are extremely busy during the fall and winter but you can always count on it being slow during the spring and summer. Think about it, "Who is thinking about their chimney during the spring or summer?" During this time, it gives the staff a little more time to spend with their families, gain more training with their profession, or just kick back and have a vacation. I like to surf and thus I spent a week in Costa Rica. The waves were great and it's nice to be back. In just a few days, the entire A Step in Time staff will attend the FIRE certification training school. Well nearly everyone, just a couple people to man the phones and Dale and Matt will be here because they already are FIRE certified. Look forward to our next post and become a follower. It's a little lonely posting to 1 follower (thanks Matt.) Look forward to our next post.

Today, I decided to make a blog to allow people who visit our website see what occurs in the lives of A Step in Time Chimney Sweeps.
